At 22, I walked away from a professional soccer career — not because I failed, but because I found something deeper. From the life of soccer, I stepped into something I never expected: a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ. Mit 22 verließ ich meine Profikarriere im Fußball — nicht weil ich gescheitert bin, sondern weil ich etwas Tieferes gefunden habe.

From age five, soccer was everything. At 12, FC Zürich's academy. At 18, my first professional contract. By 22, playing in the European Conference League in front of 30,000 fans — it felt like I had finally made it. Ab dem fünften Lebensjahr war Fußball alles. Mit 12 kam ich zur Jugendakademie des FC Zürich. Mit 18 der erste Profivertrag. Mit 22 spielte ich in der European Conference League.

Then one Saturday, I heard a sermon about the Sabbath. My conscience was shaken. I opened my Bible and asked God to show me the truth — and He did. Three days later, I knew what I had to do. Dann hörte ich an einem Samstag eine Predigt über den Sabbat. Mein Gewissen war erschüttert. Ich bat Gott um die Wahrheit — und Er zeigte sie mir. Drei Tage später wusste ich, was zu tun war.
